Research interest:

I am interested in Monte Carlo simulations applied to classical and quantum systems in equilibrium.
On the classical side I was recently investigating percolation phenomena of vortices in the 3D Abelian Higgs Model, which is one of the simplest gauge field theories.
My other main interests are Quantum Phase Transitions in 2D quantum magnets with competing interactions, which I study using Quantum Monte Carlo techniques.
