Tell us about your company name.
The company is my name because I am intimately involved with every wedding booked. My energy and enthusiasm are reflected in everything we do, from the website to the handcrafted signage we create for every wedding. When you book with us I am your person – 24/7.
Why should someone hire you?
We are dedicated to giving you an authentically beautiful wedding day. We are organized, competent, and really nice people. We love what we do and it shows.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I'm a chef and a wedding planner. I started my catering company first but then quickly added wedding planning to our services. We are obsessed with the details of service and planning a wedding is the ultimate service experience. I am from South and I grew up on a rural area surrounded by food, nature and love. My company is an expression of my roots.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
The insane beauty of Northern California keeps me inspired and excited on a daily basis. I love planning outdoor weddings and weddings that incorporate both rustic and refined elements. My other passion is floral design—I am always looking for ways to create movement and energy in a venue with floral decor.
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
My most memorable wedding planning experience was having to relocate an entire wedding two days before the wedding day because of wildfires. I found a new venue and lodging for the entire wedding party and the wedding was beautiful.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
Every wedding is different. I love the moment when "whatever" was really important for a couple goes off without a hitch.
What have weddings taught you?
Patience.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
Don't underestimate your budget. Decide what's important, get realistic costs for those items, and then make those things your priority. Remember it's YOUR day—make the decisions that resonate in your heart.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
Teleportation.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?
Fierce. Kind. Energetic.
What's your favorite book/movie/work of art?
I love poetry. Currently reading works by Hafiz and Mary Oliver. Love Pema Chodron, Brené Brown, and Oprah

What’s your favorite way to wind down after a hard day?
Walking my dog Atticus.
Tell us about your pets, if you have any.
Atticus Marley Finch. He's a rescue from the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. I found him on a beach covered in sand. A rescue on the island helped me get him back to San Francisco. He's smart and funny and the love of my life. Matilda is our cat and Atticus' best friend (after me).
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?
I love Girl and the Fig in Sonoma. The town of Sonoma is my favorite very close vacation spot. It reminds me of my Southern Roots.
